Technical Editing
Edited Job Descriptions
While sifting through the many job descriptions at Takeda, I noticed how they lacked consistency, contained errors, and didn't follow the global style guide.
To improve the quality, I redesigned and developed a new template and thoroughly edited 3 jobs for clarity for the employee, hiring manager, and human resources manager while keeping Takeda's tone and branding style.

Audience-Centric Editing
Background
During this project, I worked as a manufacturing technician, which gave me invaluable insights as a user of these documents. This perspective allowed me to identify key changes that would significantly elevate the quality of the job descriptions.
Design Process
I tailored the edits to meet the needs of the primary audience: the hiring manager and the newly hired employee, ensuring clarity and relevance. I also kept the secondary audience—human resource personnel— in mind to create a comprehensive document that serves multiple purposes.
This was my first experience using Track Changes in Microsoft Word, a powerful tool that greatly enhanced my editing process. Given that Takeda utilizes Microsoft Word for all job descriptions, this skill proved essential.
Result
Ultimately, the project resulted in polished documents and a new template for creating job descriptions that align seamlessly with the Takeda style guide, ensuring consistency and professionalism across all communications.
