I'm Kat Quinn, a certified professional technical communicator passionate about transforming complex ideas into clear, accessible information. Now, you are probably wondering:

Why technical communication?
As a first-generation Peruvian-American, I grew up translating information for my mother to understand in English and Spanish. When I continued to hone my technical skills, especially in computers and software, it became even more prevalent when people around me came to me for help to explain subjects without losing critical information. People often tell me I'm "a great teacher and make things easy to understand."

That's when I knew what I should do. And I love doing it.
With a background in technical writing, software engineering, and project management, I'm skilled in creating and developing clear content that informs and enhances the user experience.

What I'm doing now
Currently, I work as a Junior Technical Writer at Revenova, where I:
-
Create and maintain the company style guide
-
Develop release notes, user guides, and API documentation
-
Collaborate with Salesforce QA Analysts in identifying bugs in test cases

What I'm working on
To continue improving my skills and capabilities, I am working on:
-
Earning the PMP Certification to further develop my project management skills.
-
Developing my coding skills as a full-stack engineer using Codecademy with the goal of hosting an e-commerce app on GitHub pages.
